From April 5 to 8, Genetic Drift takes the stage at the Fishbowl on Granville Island (100-1398 Cartwright).

Presented as part of Boca del Lupo's Micro Performance Series, the play builds on the speculative-fiction concept introduced by Boca del Lupo and the Performance Corporation's Expedition series.

Genetic Drift examines the ethics of science, specifically the hubris associated with scientists and politicians playing God, as it explores how climate change will affect the world 150 years into the future.

Produced by Pi Theatre, the play is written by Amy Lee Lavoie and directed by Richard Wolfe. Showtimes take place at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. nightly, with matinee performances on April 8 at 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Tickets for Genetic Drift are $15 and $12 and are available online or at the door.
