Whether it's due to a lot of guys wanting to live out Fifty Shades of Gay or just a lot of curious and interested dudes, Health Initiative for Men found that last year's kink workshops for gay, bisexual, and men who have sex with men were incredibly popular.

Consequently, they're bringing Getting Kinky With HIM back for a second run, with some new topics covered this time around.

Things have already gotten underway on March 7 with a session on mummification. What is mummification? Here's one explanation. (And no, it doesn't involve your mum.)

There'll be four more workshops on Tuesdays in March, April, and May. Each session involves speakers, discussions, and some possible demonstrations.

Everything about bondage and rope play, including ropes and knots, will be explored on March 21.

Impact play, such as using floggers and paddles, will be the focus on April 4.

If you're into puppy play or want to learn more about it, there's a workshop on April 18. If you're wondering what it is, it doesn't involve actual puppies. It's role playing as a dog. Here's more on it from The Stranger.

The final session on May 9 will cover sounding. Another one you're not familiar with? We'll let Kinkopedia do the explaining.

They'll be held at 103–1033 Davie Street. And they're free or by donation.

As these workshops fill up fast and there are only 15 spots available, you can register by email or by phone (604-488-1001). For more information, visit the HIM website
