Sad news for fans of seventies rock legends Boston.

According to media reports, the band's original drummer Sib Hashian—who played on such hits as "More Than a Feeling", "Peace of Mind", and "Foreplay/Long Time"—died last night at the age of 67.

The drummer's son, Adam, told L.A.'s Eyewitness News that his father was performing aboard the Legends of Rock Cruise on Wednesday when he collapsed. Medics on board administered CPR and employed a defibrillator, but could not resuscitate him.

Hashian was on the cruise performing old Boston tunes alongside fellow ex-band member Barry Goudreau, as part of a roster that included Lou Gramm from Foreigner.

Although "More Than a Feeling" was Boston's biggest hit, I always had a soft spot for the lesser-known track "Something About You", which I'm gonna crank right now.

      R.I.P. Sib Hashian.
