This Sunday (March 26) PBS will present a screening of period costume drama To Walk Invisible.

The two-hour production, previously broadcast on the BBC, chronicles the lives of Anne, Emily, and Charlotte Brontë, as well as that of their dissipated brother Branwell.

The plot will focus on a three-year period (1845-1848) that saw the three sisters rise from relative obscurity to literary stardom.

This was also the period that saw Emily publish Wuthering Heights, Anne publish Agnes Grey, and Charlotte publish Jane Eyre.

Based largely on Charlotte's letters, To Walk Invisible stars Finn Atkins as Charlotte, Chloe Pirrie as Emily, and Charlie Murphy as Anne.
