The Georgia Straight presents the Psychedelic Furs at the Commodore

      Live Nation has announced that alternative rock band the Psychedelic Furs will play the Commodore Ballroom on Wednesday, July 19, with guest Robyn Hitchcock.

      Led by vocalist and songwriter Richard Butler and his bass-wielding brother Tim, the Furs scored hits with "Love My Way," "Pretty In Pink," "Heaven," "The Ghost In You," and “Heartbreak Beat.”

      The Psychedelic Furs touring lineup remains Richard Butler (vocals), Tim Butler (bass), Rich Good (guitar), Mars Williams (saxophone), Amanda Kramer (keyboards), and Paul Garisto (drums).

      Tickets for the Vancouver show are priced at $39.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale to the general public this Friday (April 7) at 10 am on the Ticketmaster website. Tickets are also available at Red Cat Records.
