      Canadian indie-pop singer-songwriter Homeshake performs tunes from latest album Fresh Air at the Rickshaw Theatre.

      Canadian pop group Prozzak performs on its Forever 1999 Tour at the Commodore Ballroom.

      The Egg-ucational Easter Scavenger Hunt provides trivia clues and leads visitors on a journey through the Vancouver Aquarium’s galleries.

      At the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, Easter festivities include family-friendly activities such as a scavenger hunt, games, and crafts.

      Highlights of Easter at Flyover Canada include appearances by the Easter bunny.

      Kids can ride through the forest, meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs, and get their face painted at the Stanley Park Railway Easter Train and Carnival.

      Jon Washburn conducts the Vancouver Chamber Choir and Orchestra in a performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and Duruflé's Requiem at the Orpheum Theatre.

      At Ryerson United Church, United Voices and Chamber Orchestra present Mozart's Requiem Mass in D Minor.

      At St. Andrew's United Church, service includes poetry, sung prayers, stillness, scripture, and music by Taizé, John Bell, and Cathy Hardy.

      St. Andrew’s Choir and Chamber Orchestra and director Lars Kaario perform Fauré’s Requiem at St. Andrew's United Church.

       

      COMEDY

      Canadian standup comedian Ivan Decker performs a solo show at the Comedy MIX.

      At Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club, standup comedian, actor, and podcast host Byron Bertram performs a solo show.

      Professional and amateur daters, storytellers, comedians, and everyday people share their online-dating stories at the Fox Cabaret.

      At Story Story Lie, five Vancouverites share stories, but one story is a lie. Held at Cafe Deux Soleils.

      Instant Theatre presents a cast of improvisers performing comedy mashups of your favourite martial-arts movies at the Havana Theatre.

      The Arts Club Theatre Company presents Tony Kushner's Angels in America, Part One: Millenium Approaches at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage.

      United Players presents Athol Fugard's The Train Driver at the Jericho Arts Centre.

      It's your last chance to catch August Fourth Productions presentation of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at the PAL Theatre.

      The Arts Club Theatre Company presents Mom's the Word Collective's Mom's the Word 3: Nest 1/2 Empty at the Granville Island Stage.

      Sci-fi theatre production Generation Post Script sees the human race survive in space stations in orbit around our now-uninhabitable planet. Held at Studio 1398.

      Hardline Productions presents the world premiere of Raes Calvert and Sean Harris Oliver's historical drama Redpatch at Studio 16.

      It's your first chance to catch Fighting Chance Productions presentation of Parade at the Norman Rothstein Theatre.

      Screening at the Vancity Theatre of The Gardener, which reflects on the meaning of gardening and its impact on our lives.

      The Rio Theatre screens The Void, in which a police officer experiences strange and violent occurrences seemingly linked to a group of mysterious hooded figures.

      Screening at the Rio Theatre is Spirited Away, which follows a 10-year-old girl who wanders away to a world ruled by strange and unusual monster-like animals.

      The Vancity Theatre presents a screening of Strangers on the Earth, Tristan Cook’s lively portrait of modern pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago.

      Screening at the Vancity Theatre is Black Code, the story of how the internet is being controlled and manipulated by governments.

      Paulina Ortlieb's documentary Somewhere to Go: punk Victoria screens at the Vancity Theatre.

      The Rio Theatre hosts a screening of 8 Mile, which tells the story of white rapper who crosses over Detroit's arbitrary racial boundaries.
