Normally, fans have to shell out a fair amount of cash to see Arkells, which was recently a runner-up at the Junos for Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year for Morning Report.

Earlier this year, the Hamilton-based band played the 8,000-capacity Thunderbird Arena at UBC.

But on Tuesday (April 11), Arkells will be entertaining folks at the Commodore for free to kick off the Toronto Blue Jays' baseball season.

The gig is sponsored by Budweiser.

It's requiring fans to register through Ticketmaster.
