The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Ballet BC, Program 3

From May 11 to 13, Ballet BC, Program 3 takes over the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (650 Hamilton).

The local dance troupe closes out its 31st season with a triple bill of works by prominent Israeli choreographers Emanuel Gat and Ohad Naharin and Ballet BC artistic director Emily Molnar.

The program will highlight the world premiere of Molnar's ENCOUNT3RS and a new, specially created untitled work by Gat, as well as the Ballet BC premiere of Naharin's Minus 16.

Of the event, Molnar says that it "hosts a variety of perspectives that illuminate and celebrate dance from around the globe."
