This year, the festival will feature a Justice Forum, which encompasses a broad range of social-justice issues such as workers' rights, environmental activism, new journalism, and the ongoing battle for human dignity and freedom.

Films showcased in the Justice Forum include Complicit, Drokpa, Free Lunch Society, Burning Out, Pornocracy: The New Sex Multinationals, Island Earth, Freelancer on the Frontlines, You Are on Indian Land, and Ambulance.

The festival will be taking place at the Vogue Theatre, Vancity Theatre, the Cinematheque, Orpheum Annex, SFU's Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, and the Museum of Vancouver.

Tickets for the DOXA Documentary Film Festival start at $11 and are available online.
