Free outdoor movies hit Stanley Park this summer

Every Tuesday from July 4 to August 22, cinephiles can catch free outdoor movies at Stanley Park's Ceperley Meadows.

Presented by Fresh Air Cinema as part of the Evo Summer Cinema series, movies will be shown on a four-story inflatable movie screen.

This year, the annual summertime event will feature screenings of The Lego Batman Movie (July 4), The Goonies (July 11), Toy Story (July 18), National Lampoon's Vacation (July 25), Beauty and the Beast (August 1), Jaws (August 8), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (August 15), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (August 22).

Although lawn seating is free, it is offered on a first come, first served basis. If you want a guaranteed seat, snag one of the 80 spots in the reserved Topshop/Topman Gold Circle VIP area.

While movies are scheduled to begin at dusk, pre-show activities will include games, prizes, and giveaways.
