The foul-mouthed superhero who made the Georgia Viaduct famous is back.
Ryan Reynolds tweeted this photo outside Hatley Castle in Colwood, which is a suburb near Victoria.
It's a sign that production has gotten underway for Deadpool 2.
"Dropped by the X-Mansion. Big fucking surprise. No one's home," Reynolds declared.
It was a reference to the image appearing in many X-Men films as the exterior shot for Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.
The first Deadpool grossed US$781 million, making it the most successful R-rated film at the box office in history.
Hatley Castle was once the mess hall for officers at Royal Roads Military College but in recent years it has been the administrative office for Royal Roads University.
It was designed by architect Samuel Maclure and commissioned by coal baron and former lieutenant-governor James Dunsmuir.
