Tens of thousands showed up in Kitsilano today for a street party celebrating all things Hellenic.
West Broadway was blocked off from Macdonald to Blenheim for Greek Day.
Souvlaki, dolmades, keftedes, spanakopita, you name it, it was all availabe on the street, along with a whole lot of Greek dancing and Greek flags.
It marked the culmination of Greek Heritage Month.
The first city-sanctioned Greek Day took place in 1974 in the heart of what was once known as Greektown.
