From forming a human "150" to making pre-dawn treks up some of the city's highest peaks, Vancouverites are finding all sorts of offbeat ways to commemorate our nation's sesquicentennial.

The latest comes from Yaletown, where a group of inconspicuous shoppers broke out into a rendition of "O Canada" at Urban Fare (177 Davie Street) yesterday (June 29).

The stunt took place during the busy after-work rush at the local grocer, catching some customers off guard. Despite a few strange looks, the mob caroled on, prompting many to start recording the group with their smartphones. They earned a grand applause at the end before everyone went along with their business. And to be honest, they sounded pretty damn good.
