The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Legends Valley Music Festival

From August 23 to 27, the Legends Valley Music Festival takes over Laketown Ranch (8811-2 Youbou Road, Cowichan).

The music festival is scheduled to feature performances by Body Count, House of Pain, Magic!, Sloan, Five Alarm Funk, the Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer, Delinquent Habits, Forgotten Rebels, Funkdoobiest, Mat the Alien, Kytami, Bend Sinister, Dayglo Abortions, the Gaff, Illvis Freshly, Caleb Hart and the Royal Youths, Power Clown, Antipolitic, Cocaine Moustache, Getaway Sticks, Delhi 2 Dublin, Daniel Wesley, and Ganjo Bassman.

The event, which is also a celebration of cannabis culture, features an international growers' competition, vendor exhibits, and educational seminars. Other highlights include camping, Bio Cup Canada, food vendors, onsite activities. The festival site is only five minutes from Lake Cowichan.
