Vancouver's largest and most joyful Latin America fiesta continues today and this evening in the huge parking lots on the northeast side of False Creek.

At the kids plaza, stroller fitness starts at 10:30 a.m. at Carnaval del Sol, and the first band, Pirate DelSol, will be on the Douglas College main stage at 11 a.m.

It will be followed by 11 other musical performers, culminating with Samba Fusion at 6 p.m., Orquesta Tabasco at 7 p.m., and Breaking Boundaries at 8 p.m.

The Aon Family Plaza will also feature Latin beats, as well as a fashion show at 4 p.m.

As you can guess by the name, travel is the centrepiece at the YVR Travel Plaza, which includes a presentation on Mediterranean food by Provence Marinaside chef Sheldon Maloff at 5 p.m.

And it wouldn't be Carnaval del Sol without the beer plaza, arts and crafts at the kids plaza, and the daylong soccer tournament pitting different Latin American nations against one another at Concord Pacific Place.

El fútbol empieza a las 10:30!
