On August 12, from 2 to 10 p.m., the Kaleidoscope Arts Festival takes over Town Centre Park (1299 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam).

Highlights of the second annual fest include live music and dance, arts activities, an artisan market, food trucks, and craft beer.

Music fans can expect to take in performances by headliner Bif Naked, as well as sets by the Paperboys, the Matinée, Jennifer Hayes, West My Friend, and Derrival.

Eventgoers can also take in Métis dancers and circus performers, browse handiworks, try out hands-on arts activities, listen to storytellers, and savour craft beer and food-truck fare.

Admission to the Kaleidoscope Arts Festival is free of charge. For more information, check out the event's website.
