When fans found out that the TV drama series Sense8 had been cancelled after only two seasons, they rose up and took action.

Their campaign to save the global-minded show was so successful that Netflix ordered a two-hour finale special.

Co-creator Lana Wachowski and international cast members from around the world thanked their devoted audiences by creating a video in which they talk about what the show means to them.

Wachowski, who is openly transgender, and several cast members participated in a meet-and-greet at the Davie Street Party on August 4 and marched in the Vancouver Pride parade on August 6.

Their appearance on stage at the Sunset Beach Festival after the parade makes it into the video, as well as a clip of cast members Brian J. Smith (who plays Will Gorski) and Max Riemelt (who portrays Wolfgang Bogdanow) chatting in Coal Harbour.
