Ace Burger Bar replaces Sunset Burgers in Yaletown

A year after Sunset Burgers set up its neon-tinged So-Cal-style burger joint in Yaletown, it has been replaced by a new restaurant specializing in burgers. Ace Burger Bar (550 Nelson Street) opened quietly at the start of September.

The restaurant focuses on fast and fresh hamburgers, as well as chicken, veggie, lamb, and seafood burgers. Ace also serves hot-dogs and steak sandwiches, and offer various side plates, including hand-cut French fries, yam fries, poutine, and tempura-battered onion rings.

All six-ounce burger patties are made by Vancouver butcher Big Lou’s Butcher Shop. Burgers start at $6.99 and hot-dogs at $5.99.
