AK-47 lighters: time to shoot up the barbecue?

Talk about firepower. I did a double-take upon seeing these AK-47 barbecue lighters for sale in a big-box store in Vancouver. They resemble the famed Kalashnikov assault rifle, but are much smaller than the real thing.

Someone thought it was a good idea to position them in the checkout area of the Cambie Street store. So you couldn't miss them, sitting right next to the fishing-pole lighters. Fun for the whole family?

Hey, what's the coincidence that it looks just like the Type 56 rifle that is the main fire arm of the Peoples Republic of China?
And the next model may have an actual firing mechanism, and then the Chinese foreign workers could,,,? Nah, chairman harper,er PM harper
wouldn't let that......wait he's sold out already!
