Amanda Seyfried shows up at Ron Zalko's gym for a workout

Over the past year, fitness guru Ron Zalko has attracted a fair amount of media attention for his fight against the harmonized sales tax.

Several thousand people showed up at his Kitsilano gym to sign the anti-HST petitions.

Recently, Zalko generated attention in a different way by hosting one of Hollywood's hottest rising stars. Amanda Seyfried, who appeared in Mamma Mia! and Atom Egoyan's Chloe, showed up for a workout.

Seyfried is in town filming Red Riding Hood, which is directed by Catherine Hardwicke and produced by Leonardo DiCaprio.
