Arts Club Theatre Company branches out with cocktail-pairing fundraiser

Whisky will be the basis of some creative cocktails for this Arts Club Theatre Company fundraiser.

The Arts Club Theatre Company is expanding its popular celebrity food-and-wine fundraisers with a whisky dinner, which happens next Thursday (July 12) at 6 p.m.

The evening highlights four premium whiskies: Ardbeg (Islay), Auchentoshan (Lowlands), Benromach (Speyside), and Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban (Highlands). It will include a tasting, a four-course dinner, and cocktail pairings around the communal table at Legacy Liquor Store (1633 Manitoba Street).

Lauren Mote of Kale & Nori Culinary Arts is developing the cocktails, and her partner Jonathan Chovancek is behind the menu.
