Author Ayn Rand inspired right-wing cruelty.

Liberal attack dog Warren Kinsella just retweeted the funniest thing I've seen all day.

It came from self-described genius Andrew Drucker.

"I am amused to discover that 'Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan' is an anagram of 'My Ultimate Ayn Rand Porn'."

This came less than a day after a Wisconsin newspaper editor was quoted as saying that Ryan was inspired to go into politics by The Fountainhead, which was Rand's ode to selfishness.

Ayn Rand's philosophy can be distilled into a Bismarckian phrase: "Humanity begins at the rank of CEO." Randism is anti-human, and people think she is promoting human dignity. My head shakes.

Ayn Rand and her husband lived on social security benefits and medicare, even as they both demonized welfare and public health care. Ayn Rand, a heavy smoker, refused to believe cigarettes caused lung cancer. Rand contracted and died from lung cancer.

Rand was the ultimate hypocrite and it's astounding she still has followers.

Rand is a perfect fit for the religious minded, as you have to take her on faith. No least amount of intellectual scrutiny will let her pass muster.
