British kids freak out when shown Paranormal Activity 4 by mistake

Word has already gotten out that the latest entry in the Paranormal Activity franchise is no screaming hell, but that didn't stop a bunch of little kids in England from getting all freaked out by it.

Thanks to a technical glitch at Nottingham's Cineworld last Saturday morning a theatre full of children got treated to the first two minutes or so of Paranormal Activity 4 instead of the scheduled flick, Madagascar 3.

Unfortunately for the kiddies (and the managers of Cineworld) the first two minutes or so of Paranormal Activity 4 includes a flashback to the first movie that isn't recommended for the younger set.

"It opens on the most terrifying scene in the first film," angry mum Natasha Lewis told The Sun newspaper, "where a body shoots full pelt towards the camera. It's enough to make grown men jump, so you can imagine the terror in these young faces.

"Everybody just scrambled for the exits," she added, "all you could hear were children crying and screaming. Everyone was very upset. It was only about two minutes worth of the film but it was enough to scar them for life.”

Hey, nobody wants to get scarred for life. But it could have been worse. What if the lame-brained projectionist had a copy of the new Evil Dead trailer lying around?
