Caption the Political Photo: Stephen Harper lights the menorah for Hanukkah

    1 of 2 2 of 2

It's that time of year again. Holiday photo-op time, that is. Welcome to Caption the Political PhotoHanukkah edition.

This picture from the PMO depicts Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife, Laureen, lighting the menorah at 24 Sussex Drive, as Rabbi Wineberg looks on. We don't know if Adam Sandler's song about the Festival of Lights was playing in the PM's head as he did so, but we do know "The Chanukah Song" entered ours as soon as we saw this latest photo release.

Here's how our photo caption contest works. If you were the PM—or perhaps Laureen or Rabbi Wineberg—what would you be saying in this picture? Tell us in the comments section below or on our Facebook page.

We'll repost the photo on Tuesday (December 11) using our favourite submission. Happy Hanukkah!

Update (December 11): Thanks to Stefan Shipmaker on Facebook for providing our winning caption.

We have a winner. Thanks to Stefan Shipmaker on Facebook.

After I light the candles do I get to sit on your lap and tell you what I want for Hanukkah?
