Christmas dinner in a muffin tin

Here’s something creative in the Christmas dinner department. The Cambie Street locationof Whole Foods Market has cleverly put a whole turkey dinner into a muffin cup. The muffins come in three varieties: traditional with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy; vegan with field roast, yams, mushroom gravy, and wild rice stuffing; and a Health Starts Here version with field roast, cashew creamed mashed potatoes, vegan mushroom gravy, and wild rice stuffing.

You can get them at the Cambie Street prepared foods area either hot or cold. They’re sold by the kilo ($24.90 per kilo), which works out to be around $3.50 to $4 per muffin.

While they make quite tasty little snacks, I dare you to put one on each empty plate on Christmas Day and say that’s dinner this year!
