Christy Clark sort of admits she's smoked marijuana
B.C. premier Christy Clark has conceded she's just like the rest of us—when it comes to illegal drug use at least.
According to CTV News, Clark was asked by a reporter during a media scrum if she'd "ever partaken in the weed" in high school.
The B.C. Liberal leader's answer: "There was a lot of that going on when I was in high school, and I didn't avoid it altogether."
Unlike a growing number of current and former politicians in B.C., Clark (along with NDP leader Adrian Dix, who has also partaken of the weed) has refused to call for marijuana legalization.
A Forum Research poll released in January suggests 66 percent of Canadians support the legalization or decriminalization of marijuana.

can't vote for a criminal
To me, all a politician has to say is, "Yup, blew some reefer when I was a teen, didn't see what all the fuss was about, haven't seen the reason to smoke it since". At least it would be being somewhat honest.
You might demonize a certain politicized marijuana advocate presently doing time.... but at least he ain't lying about his consumption of pot.
Like most people who have "partaken of the weed" in their lives, she grew up to be an employed, successful taxpaying citizen. And that is about the nicest thing you will ever hear BC Liberals Suck ever say about her.
The thing that cracked me up most was her quintessential political hack spin when she was quoted saying "There was a lot of that going on when I was in high school, and I didn't avoid it altogether." Now it makes me curious if she didn't avoid the mushrooms and acid that were going on around that time too?
There was a lot of them around in the 70's and early 80's.
