Christy Clark sort of admits she's smoked marijuana

B.C. premier Christy Clark has conceded she's just like the rest of us—when it comes to illegal drug use at least.

According to CTV News, Clark was asked by a reporter during a media scrum if she'd "ever partaken in the weed" in high school.

The B.C. Liberal leader's answer: "There was a lot of that going on when I was in high school, and I didn't avoid it altogether."

Unlike a growing number of current and former politicians in B.C., Clark (along with NDP leader Adrian Dix, who has also partaken of the weed) has refused to call for marijuana legalization.

A Forum Research poll released in January suggests 66 percent of Canadians support the legalization or decriminalization of marijuana.

We can't elect anything but puppets for the laws' war-on-personal-freedom cartel coming out of the back door of fundamentalism cult Christians in the USA. Get rid of cult morality and your life will work itself out just find. Bow to the bible that created the crimes against humanity that the drug war is and understand the reason you keep losing, is you fight the false enemy. Mind control cults are the enemy otherwise everyone would be free by now.

As it all goes up in smoke but the war against the green leaf medicine is more of an issue with the drug companies who have shelfs of drugs to market to the average pot smoking consumers who is content without the meds the doctor pushes. And it isn't like many of the medicines do anything but mask the symptoms while adverse reactions create a whole new medical condition that if you take 2 before bedtime will only set you up for another illness in the future.

This is just political enemies raising the issue to drive another wedge between her and the conservative farm/Christian vote.

This is Vancouver nobody cares if Christie has experimented with pot in her younger years, nobody except perhaps yourself. Christie is her own worst enemy and it shows up in the polls and in British Columbians who speak freely about how Clark is wrong for the job and that isn't smoke and mirrors but the end of the BC Liberals which is a happy ending.

In this province, if you're under 50 and you have not partaken of the weed, you are either lying or you're a total prude..... either way, I wouldn't vote for you.
To me, all a politician has to say is, "Yup, blew some reefer when I was a teen, didn't see what all the fuss was about, haven't seen the reason to smoke it since". At least it would be being somewhat honest.
You might demonize a certain politicized marijuana advocate presently doing time.... but at least he ain't lying about his consumption of pot.

BC Liberals Suck
It really must be a slow news week, because this really isn't worth ink. Big deal if our soon-to-be-ex-Premier smoked some fatties when she was in school back in the day (or last week for that matter). As daft and awkward as she is on many levels, no-one can say pot use impacted her ambitions and the like.

Like most people who have "partaken of the weed" in their lives, she grew up to be an employed, successful taxpaying citizen. And that is about the nicest thing you will ever hear BC Liberals Suck ever say about her.

The thing that cracked me up most was her quintessential political hack spin when she was quoted saying "There was a lot of that going on when I was in high school, and I didn't avoid it altogether." Now it makes me curious if she didn't avoid the mushrooms and acid that were going on around that time too?
