Every week, the people at OpenMedia.ca, a Vancouver-based nonprofit organization that advocates an open and affordable Internet, bring us up to date on Canada's telecom news and their campaigns.

Both within Canada and out, the pro-Internet community is fighting against invasive online spying legislation. OpenMedia.ca is taking part in the fight against the U.S. bill CISPA, which may have a big impact on Canadians. And for the fight against Canada's online spying bill, C-30, we've just come out with a new infographic to debunk the myths being spread through Public Safety Minister Vic Toews's irresponsible PR campaign.
