Don't worry, Skrillex fans: Sonny Moore is not dead

Mark Twain once told a curious journalist, "The report of my death was an exaggeration." Which, when you think about it, would have made a great tweet, assuming Twain would have actually been on Twitter had it been around in 1897.

Sonny Moore is the latest celebrity to have his death prematurely reported. Earlier today, the following headline reportedly appeared on CNN's website: "Electro and Dubstep artist Sonny Moore also known as Skrillex dies in a plane crash." Huh? A little digging (i.e. a Google News search) did not turn up an actual story connected to said headline, so assuming this isn't a viral prank (which is assuming a lot), who knows where CNN got its information.

The biggest clue that Moore is still alive came when the artist himself took to his official Twitter account and tweeted: "Third death rumor about me this year...wtf". Which is not quite as eloquent as Twain's famous remark, but matching Twain's wit is a tall order.

In Moore's defense, Samuel Clemens never brought the wobble-bass drops as hard as this:

The death rumor started as a prank in a 4chan thread, the CNN article was posted on their 'i report' section that anyone can post to - they marked it as 'non-vetted'.

Tbh Skrillex isnt truely Dubstep seeing how he uses all different genres in his tracks, not hating on him though for all you people who like to jump the gun. It would be sad if he was dead but he's not so we can all listen to his new up and comming songs. Eventhough I prefer the old ones =D
