E L James's husband pens YA novel
Niall Leonard, husband of Fifty Shades of Grey author E L James, has announced that he has written a YA thriller called Crusher, soon to be published by Random House Children's Publishing. The novel follows the gritty story of a London teenager who becomes the prime suspect when he discovers his stepfather’s murder.
Apart from being a first-time novelist, Leonard is also a screenwriter who has worked on shows like Hornblower, Monarch of the Glen, Rotten Apples, and Sea of Souls. For more info on the British wordsmith, check out his website.
Of his novel, the author says that “Crusher is a story I have wanted to write for years and it finally all came together last November when my wife encouraged me to take part in the Nanowrimo novel-writing event. I am thrilled and delighted that RHCP have picked up Crusher for publication, and it's a fantastic honour to join the distinguished names on their writers' list."
What I want to know is, where's my book deal? People need a story about a naked Ryan Gosling and his magical dragon friend, damn it.
