Even Bill Gates's kids covet Apple products

Melinda Gates, who is married to Microsoft founder Bill Gates, has admitted that her children ask for Apple iPods.

“But they get Windows technology,” she said on BBC Radio 4, according to the Telegraph. “The wealth from our family came from Microsoft so why would we invest in a competitor?”

Perhaps the Gates kids would care more about the future of Daddy's company if the billionaire planned to pass on more than a "minuscule portion" of his wealth.

That's a reported $10 million each in Gates's disgustingly rich world. The rest of the Gates fortune is going to (Microsoft-product-using?) charities.
