Feist has won this year’s Polaris Prize for her record Metals. In case you are curious, we voted for, in no particular order, the latest records by the Pack a.d., Dan Mangan, and Alcoholic White Trash. They didn’t win. For her win, Feist takes home the biggest cheque—a whopping $30,000—she’s received since that “1234” song got stuck in your head for five months thanks to that infernal iPod commercial.
