Finnish flight attendants bust Bollywood moves for India's Republic Day

Sure you can watch movies on flights now. But how often do you get treated to a live in-flight dance performance?

It depends on what airline you take.

Last year, flight attendants of the Philippines-based Cebu Pacific airlines demonstrated safety instructions to the likes of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas", and Men Without Hats' "Safety Dance" (bonus points for them choosing Cancon with that last selection).

This time around, instead of Asian people dancing to western music, it's the reverse: western people dancing to Asian music.

Passengers on a Finnair flight from Helsinki, Finland, to New Delhi, India, were surprised with a live dance performance of the Bollywood number "Deewangi Deewangi" from the 2007 movie Om Shanti Om.

And why did flight attendants take to the aisles to bust their best Bollywood moves? They were celebrating India's Republic Day (January 26).

For comparison, here's how the song was portrayed in the movie, which stars "King of Bollywood" Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Which performance do you prefer?

The culture of the world has spread. White people going to work in China, India. China now calling the shots in the world not the USA. Oil wars, lies and military threats are being ignored instead, the world wants peace.
Good story and bust a nut to this. Georgia Straight is considered alternative news and media, but with truth tellers like Dyer, who tell of non existent Iranian nukes, and disdain for war. This is the type of media that is dope. T
