FOX News outfoxed by national-security expert

A journalist has gone on FOX News and accused the Rupert Murdoch—owned network of "operating as a wing of the Republican Party".

National-security expert Tom Ricks made the remark in connection with the way FOX has covered the attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi on September 11.

You can see the exchange below.

Tom Ricks may not be invited back onto FOX for a while.

Bravo Mr. Ricks.

Long overdue for someone to speak truth in a cesspool of propaganda.

Don't fly in small planes, Tom.

The Obama administration's shoddy and bumbling cover up regarding what actually happened in Benghazi is a travesty; the truth will eventually be revealed. Obama's wrecking ball approach to foreign policy is glossed over or obfuscated only by those without any scruples.

Catherine Herridge, a journalist with Fox News, is a REAL reporter of the truth. Would that there were more like Herridge!

@blueheron: There is no evidence whatsoever of a coverup. The GOP's bleating about Benghazi is simply partisan politics with no basis in rational criticism.

Who even watches American news or Fox its like a commercial for war and right winged bs. BBC is still the best and plenty of good media on internet Guardian, Straight, KiDDAA, Al Jazeera, and thousands of non lobbyist media. Who really watches American news its pure fear mongering and they never mention Africa, Asia or south America unless its American related. Time for Black, murdoch to stay out of media.

So, now they've got obama in there a second time. Where was this journalist on the latest US federal election night during the most heinous election corruption in global political history? Watching Jon Stewart? So much for security journalism in the new hard-communist USA. I'll stick with the real security experts, of the kind who shoot the bad guys who coup themselves into office. Of the kind who freely display the body of the heinous enemy they continually claim to have killed, namely bin laden. This is something The USA is failing to do as of this time under their present forced administration.

Yes, Hans, it's the Rove-ites coming out of the woodwork who still fervently believe their 2+2=5 arithmetic from Bullsh*t Mountain, despite Megyn Kelly asking them, "Is this just math that you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better or is this real?" As for the true answer, we all know how that turned out.
