As part of its Reel Reads Movie Night series, the Vancouver Public Library's Central branch (350 W. Georgia) presents a screening of the 1963 film Charade on Thursday, January 12, 6:30 pm, in the Alice MacKay Room.

Charade combines elements of comedy, mystery, and romance as it tells the story of a widow who is on the run from a trio of thugs who are after the fortune her husband stole from them. This Hitchcock-like suspense film stars Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, and Walter Matthau.

It’s free to take in this movie, but you should probably arrive early as seats are limited.

Further details can be found on the Vancouver Public Library’s website.
