Game of Thrones hits the Vancity Theatre

This Friday (March 23), HBO Canada and Movie Central are hosting a Game of Thrones marathon at the Vancity Theatre.

Starting at 8 am, all 10 episodes of the show’s first season will be shown back-to-back, including "Winter Is Coming", "The Kingsroad", "Lord Snow", "Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things", "The Wolf and the Lion", "A Golden Crown", "You Win or You Die", "The Pointy End", "Baelor", and "Fire and Blood".

Fans will also get a chance to sit on the Iron Throne and have their picture taken with costumed characters, who will be roaming the area from 5 pm to 8 pm. The first 40 fans who are seated for the season finale at 6 pm will win a copy of the box set of the first season of Game of Thrones.

While the event is free, seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so get there early if you want to experience Westeros on the big screen. For more info, check out Movie Central’s website.
