The Georgia Straight presents Alexisonfire at the Pacific Coliseum
Live Nation has announced that Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire has added a Vancouver date to its 10th anniversary farewell tour and will play the Pacific Coliseum on Monday, December 17.
The Juno-winning group—consisting of George Pettit (vocals), Dallas Green (guitar, piano, vocals),Wade MacNeil (guitar, backing vocals), Chris Steele (bass guitar), and Jordan Hastings (drums, percussion)—split up in 2011, and is reuniting for a farewell tour, for which it originally did not include a local stop. Disappointed Vancouver fans made themselves heard on social media and on the band’s website, and Alexisonfire decided to make it out for one final show.
Tickets for the show are priced at $42.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (September 21) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website. The majority of shows in the tour have sold out in minutes.
Tickets are also available for purchase by phone at 1-604-757-0345, at the Pacific Coliseum Box Office, and through Rogers Wireless Box Office.
