The Georgia Straight presents Ben Howard at the Commodore

Live Nation has announced that British folk singer-songwriter Ben Howard will perform at the Commodore Ballroom on Wednesday, October 3, in support of his debut album Every Kingdom.

Signed to Mumford and Sons’ Ben Lovett’s record label, Howard recorded Every Kingdom in a converted barn nestled between the countryside and the sea. The album debuted in the top ten of the UK charts and garnered the young acoustic artist widespread praise. Having completed the first leg of a US tour, Howard will continue to support his release with shows at Sasquatch! Music Festival and Bonnaroo.

Tickets for the show are priced at $23.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (May 18) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
