The Georgia Straight presents Chilly Gonzales at the Rio Theatre
Live Nationhas announced that Canadian orchestral-rap pianist-vocalist Chilly Gonzales will perform at the Rio Theatre on Monday, November 5.
Gonzales, who now lives in Paris, France, regularly collaborates with Canadian musicians like Feist, Peaches, and Mocky, and even performed with Drake at last year’s Juno Awards. In 2009, he broke the Guinness World Record for longest solo concert with 27 hours of piano music. He is perhaps best known for his song “Never Stop”, which appeared in commercials for Apple’s iPod.
Tickets for the show are priced at $23.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (August 17) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
