The Georgia Straight presents Corb Lund at the Commodore

Live Nation has announced that Canadian country artist Corb Lund will perform at the Commodore Ballroom on Thursday, December 13, in support of his latest album Cabin Fever.

Lund, backed by his longtime band the Hurtin’ Albertans (Kurt Ciesla, Brady Valgardson, and Grant Siemens), is a Juno Award-winner, and was named Roots Artist of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association from 2004–2010.

Lund and the band play both country and folk festivals, thanks to their sound’s crossover appeal. “We’re able to straddle the line between songwriter folk and straight country”, says Lund, “which is cool.”

Tickets for the show are priced at $28.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (September 21) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets are also available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000, at all Ticketmaster Outlets and Rogers Wireless Box Office.
