The Georgia Straight presents Delhi 2 Dublin at the Commodore

Live Nationhas announced that Vancouver-based world music group will perform at the Commodore Ballroom on Friday, November 30, in support of its third studio album, Turn Up The Stereo .

“Sometimes we just need to drown out the noise of the world by making the music louder,” says vocalist Sanjay Seran. Also consisting of electronics and percussions guru Tarun Nayar, violinist Sara Fitzpatrick, guitarist and sitar player Andrew Kim, and dhol player Ravi Binning, Delhi 2 Dublin brings its blend of Bhangra, Celtic, dub, rock, and electronic sounds to the recently released Turn Up The Stereo .

Tickets for the show are priced at $27.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (September 7) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
