The Georgia Straight presents the Head and the Heart at the Commodore
Live Nation has announced that Seattle-based indie-folk group the Head and the Heart will perform—with guests Bryan John Appleby and Curtains For You—at the Commodore Ballroom on Thursday, October 11, in support of its eponymous debut album.
Leaving behind their various day jobs and academic pursuits, the members of the Head and the Heart came together in the summer of 2009, during frequent visits to the open-mike night at Seattle’s Conor Byrne. With recent appearances at Coachella, Sasquatch Music Festival, and the Vancouver Folk Music Festival , the young band will finish out its summer tour with shows across the West.
