The Georgia Straight presents Imaginary Cities at the Waldorf
Live Nation has announced that Winnipeg-based indie-pop group Imaginary Cities will perform at the Waldorf on Thursday, July 12, in support of its debut album Temporary Resident.
Consisting of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Rusty Matyas and singer-songwriter Marti Sarbit, the newly-formed Imaginary Cities has accomplished much in a little over a year. The group propelled to the top of the Canadian college charts with singles like “Temporary Resident”, “Don’t Cry", and “Hummingbird", and joined the Pixies on the entire run of its recent North American tour.
Tickets for the show are priced at $15 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (May 18) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
Tickets are also available for purchase at Red Cat and Highlife Records, and at all Ticketmaster outlets and Rogers Wireless Box Office.twitter.com/vanhappenings
