The Georgia Straight presents Matisyahu at the Commodore

The Georgia Straight is presenting Grammy-nominated reggae artist Matisyahu on July 27 at the Commodore Ballroom.

Matisyahu’s fusion of traditional Jewish themes, reggae-rock, and beatboxing will be bumping the Commodore for the first time since his 2010 tour. He'll be touring in support of his latest release, Live at Stubb’s Vol. II, which was recorded last August in Austin, Texas, with his band the Dub Trio.

Tickets for Matisyahu are priced at $32.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (May 6) at 10 a.m., but Straight readers can take advantage of our exclusive presale from Thursday (May 5), 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., by going to Livenation. and submitting our exclusive presale password light.
