The Georgia Straight presents Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Snow Patrol at Rogers Arena
Live Nation has announced that Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Snow Patrol will co-headline an all-ages show at Rogers Arena on Thursday, October 25, with guest Jake Bugg.
Formed in 2011, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds is the former Oasis lead guitarist/songwriter’s new project. The Manchester-based group includes former Oasis session pianist Mike Rowe, drummer Jeremy Stacey, bassist Russell Pritchard, and guitarist Tim Smith. As well as performing classic Oasis tunes, the band’s set will include songs from its eponymous 2011 debut album.
Snow Patrol—consisting of singer Gary Lightbody, guitarist Nathan Connolly, bassist Paul Wilson, drummer Jonny Quinn, and keyboardist Tom Simpson—formed in 1994. The band achieved international renown with its second studio album, Eyes Open, which included the hit single "Chasing Cars". The Glasgow-based alternative rock group is touring in support of its sixth studio album, Fallen Empires.
Tickets for the show are priced at $29.50, $49.50, and $72.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (July 20) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
Tickets are also available for purchase at all Ticketmaster Outlets and Rogers Wireless Box Office.
