The Georgia Straight presents Old 97's at Venue
Live Nationhas announced that Dallas, Texas-based alt-country group Old 97’s will be performing at Venue on Wednesday, September 5, in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Too Far To Care.
Formed in 1993, Old 97’s has since released nine studio albums and is considered to be one of the pioneers of the mid- to late-'90s alt-country movement. On the Too Far To Care Anniversary Tour, the band—consisting of Rhett Miller, Murry Hammond, Ken Bethea, and Philip Peeples—will perform its 1997 album, Too Far To Care, in its entirety, followed by a second set of old favourites.
Tickets for the show are priced at $24.50 (plus service charges) and go on sale this Friday (June 29) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
