The Georgia Straight presents Raphael Saadiq at the Commodore in April

Live Nation has just announced that, as part of the Straight Series, the Georgia Straight presents California R&B-soul artist Raphael Saadiq at the Commodore on April 12.

The singer-songwriter will be showcasing tunes from his latest album, Stone Rollin', which celebrates the classic sounds of soul with a futuristic twist.

Saadiq is a Grammy-winning artist who has worked with cross-genre musical acts like Stevie Wonder, A Tribe Called Quest, Mary J. Blige, the Roots, Joss Stone, and the Bee Gees.

Tickets for Raphael Saadiq are priced at $29.50 (plus service fees) and go on sale this Friday (January 28), 10 a.m., at www.livenation.com, but Straight.com readers can take advantage of our presale, which takes place this Wednesday and Thursday (January 26 and 27) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., by using the password "radio".
