The Georgia Straight presents Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs
The Georgia Straight presents Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs at the Orpheum on September 2.
Ray LaMontagne’s journey is a gutsy musician's dream. Since abandoning his 65-hour work week at a shoe factory in Maine to take a chance on his music career, LaMontagne has churned out three studio albums and two live EPs and has also written and performed numerous tracks for TV and film, including multiple American Idol performances of his compositions.
God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise, LaMontagne's fourth album, is the first project where the singer-songwriter has defined himself in a band setting, rather than as a solo artist. Keeping with the concept of trying new things and taking chances, LaMontagne has also taken on the role of producer.
Tickets for Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs are priced at $34.50 and $59.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (May 6) at 10 a.m., but Straight readers can take advantage of our exclusive presale from Thursday (May 4th) 10 a.m.–10 p.m. by going to Livenation. and submitting our exclusive presale password: Creek.
