The Georgia Straight presents two Gogol Bordello shows at the Commodore

Live Nation has announced that gypsy-punk group Gogol Bordello will perform two shows at the Commodore Ballroom on Friday, December 28, and Saturday, December 29.

The hard-rocking group, fronted by Eugene Hutz, has built a substantial world-wide fan base via gigs and festival appearances throughout Eastern Europe, South America, and the Middle East, along with stops in Australia, Western Europe, and in their adopted U.S. homeland. With albums such as Gypsy Punks and Super Taranta!, Gogol Bordello represents the voice of minorities all over.

Tickets for both shows are priced at $35 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (October 12) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets are also available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000, at all Ticketmaster Outlets and Rogers Wireless Box Office.
