The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors The 605 Collective’s New Animal at The Cultch

Dancers from Vancouver’s The 605 Collective hurl their bodies into a new multimedia work created specifically for the dance troupe by choreographer Dana Gingras (Animals of Distinction, The Holy Body Tattoo).

New Animal is a raw and energetic work performed by Lisa Gelley, Shay Kuebler, Josh Martin, Dave Raymond, and Amber Funk-Barton at the Cultch’s Historic Theatre (1895 Venables Street) from February 7 to 11 (all performances at 8 p.m.). The performance includes an eclectic soundtrack assembled by Roger Tellier-Craig, lighting design by Robert sondergaard, and film elements by Dana Gingras and Yannick Grandmont.
