Blood splatter, a roaring chainsaw, and an abandoned cabin in the woods. Sound like your last musical theatre experience? Don’t think so. Last Chance Productions presents Evil Dead the Musical, on at the Waterfront Theatre (1412 Cartwright Street) from May 3 to 6, 17-20.

The comedy musical takes on elements of the cult classic movies Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness, and follows five college students who turn into demons in an abandoned cabin. Be prepared for bad jokes, plenty of fake blood, and a “splatter zone” for audience members who want to get in on the action.
